Laser hair removal is generally well-tolerated by most patients. During the treatment, you may feel a brief sensation similar to a rubber band snap or a pinprick each time the laser pulses against your skin. This sensation is quick and doesn’t result in lingering pain or discomfort. Many patients report that subsequent treatments feel even less intense. To ensure your comfort, we also offer numbing cream if needed.

There is no downtime with laser hair removal, allowing you to return to your regular activities immediately after treatment.

During a laser hair removal treatment, a thin layer of clear, cool gel is applied to the targeted area. The laser is then delivered through a small, cooled handpiece, ensuring quick and even application across the skin.

In order to treat hair with a laser it must have pigment in the hair follicle. This means that grey, blond or light red hair cannot be treated with laser hair removal. We recommend dermaplane for treatment of these hair colors. We recommend a spot test for those with darker skin tones.
